Most missionaries return home not because of inadequate biblical training, but because of problems within their family. Growing up as a missionary kid, I know of plenty of families that had to return home or were severely crippled in their ministry, because their kids never made the transition onto the field. The Family Learning Center in Chiang Rai, Thailand is a school that exists to specifically serve the children of missionaries and those who work for the gospel in the area. The staff and teachers of the school are missionaries themselves, devoted to not only educating, but nurturing kids that are a part of their community. If you’d like to volunteer as a teacher for a year in Chiang Rai, check out their website, download the application, and get in touch with them.
