We’re Home

Our plane circled lazily, like a seagull drifting into landing. Below us, lush greens rolled down the Himalayan foothills to rest at the riverbanks and wash up against the concrete structures that make up the city of Chiang Rai. As our plane bounced and jostled down the runway, a mixture of relief and exhilaration welled up inside Jacki and me. We were home!

We can’t wait to post up some video and pictures of the trip and our new home. Right now we’re in the process of getting set up here, so it may be a few days. And I haven’t forgotten our last talk about the collision of our need for “sureness” and a risky God. Stay tuned. We love you and are so grateful for your part in our story!

Not yet. We made a bee line for Chiang Rai. We had so much baggage to get over here, we just wanted to land, get settled and make ourselves a home here. We’ll have to put that in the plan sometime in the next few years while we’re over in this part of the world
