Golden Triangle Trip

The Mekong River washes down from China and carves a separation between Myanmar (Burma), Laos, and Thailand. The borders of these three nations has created what we call “the Golden Triangle”. Gaining notoriety during the opium boom, it is now the home of a giant golden Buddha, making it a spiritual pilgrimage site. The cultural significance of this site and it’s rich visuals gave us a perfect opportunity to flex our Media Light students’ skills. So, while people trickled through the site, the Media Light crew broke out the equipment and set up for a day of filming.
