Egypt Trip: Alexandria

Alexandria, founded by Alexander the Great, became the depository of the world’s knowledge and beacon of progress for nearly 300 years before the destruction of it’s Library and Lighthouse. Here we plumbed the depths of knowledge at the new Library of Alexandria, learned of the story of two inmates at the Castle of Qaitbay, raided the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, and dipped our toes in the Mediterranean Sea.
